    “I sometimes get this strange and sort of uncontrollable urge to want to go home.”  - Georg Hólm, of the band Sigur Rós I think this picture is probably the sort of image that comes to Georg’s mind when he thinks of home. He, along with the rest of Sigur Rós, are from Icleand. I’ve never been but I’ve seen incredible pictures and sometimes I can’t believe the Creator put something so illustrious, so, so… other on this planet. Yet it is only a dull reflection of what our home will be like when we meet Him.  “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”John 14:2-3 He has made a place for us. View high resolution

    The God of the Impossible

    “Face it out to the end, cast away every shadow of hope on the human side as an absolute hindrance to the Divine, heap up all the difficulties together recklessly, and pile as many more on as you can find; you cannot get beyond the blessed climax of impossibility. Let faith swing out to Him. He is the God of the impossible.”

    This was taken from one of my favorite devotionals, Streams in the Desert, on November 27th. Please join with me in praying for 100% of my financial support. By all human definitions, it seems impossible. But with our God… nothing is impossible.

    bronchitis

    Hello beloved friends and supporters. I just wanted to update you all and let you know that I have not forgotten to post updates. I have actually had bronchitis for the last 10 days and didn’t know it until now! I’m very grateful to have access to a good doctor here in Ventura, who says with some hearty antibiotics and good cough syrup I should be back in business in the next few days. Meanwhile I would love prayer for total healing of my body and for continued progress in support raising. 

    I’m so grateful for all of you.
